The Cottage Sitting Room      

Our Cottage

The Cottage has three bedrooms, sleeping six. Heating is by night storage heaters (included in the rent all year) and electric radiators (included in the rent from May to September inclusive). There are blankets and pillows for the beds, but sheets and towels are not provided. The bedrooms have chests of drawers and wardrobes/hanging cupboards for clothes. There is parquet wood flooring throughout downstairs, while the upstairs is carpeted.

DOWNSTAIRS
  • The sitting room, which has a beamed ceiling and stone fire-place, has a french window which opens onto the garden. There are comfortable sofas and armchairs for six and a radio/CD player (but no television). There are numerous books and leaflets about the island.
  • The dining room has an extendable oak table and seating for six.
  • The kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and table/chairs, plus an adjoining utility room with dishwasher and washing machine. There is also an ample supply of cooking utensils and crockery.
  • The bathroom has a thermostatic shower over the bath and electric towel rail.

UPSTAIRS

  • Double bedroom with 4 foot 6 inch bed and en-suite bathroom with a thermostatic shower over the bath and heated towel rail.
  • Two twin bedrooms.

GardenGardenGardenGARDEN The large half-acre sunny garden is secluded (it is surrounded by high hedges on all sides for privacy) and has several lawns as well as mature borders. The stone garage next to The Cottage houses the tables, chairs, sun-loungers and deckchairs for the garden. There is plenty of off-street parking.
